SPECIFIC CHARACTERISTICS OF CORPORATIVE MANAGMENT IN PUBLIC COMPANIES IN SERBIA

Establishing and improving corporative management has been noted as an important segment of reforms in our country that are particularly necessary in public sector primarily in order to improve the management of public companies that would lead to the increase of economic efficiency of these companies.
The paper focuses on corporate management problems and deficiencies in Serbia at well as on the efforts Serbia has to make in order to improve corporate in public companies or share holding companies in which the state is the majority owner.
