Apstrakt

Informacione i komunikacione tehnologije mogu se koristiti na više načina kako bi se ispunili zahtevi tri glavna stuba Balijskog akcionog plana koji su proizašli iz trinaeste sednice Konferencije Strana u decembru 2007. godine, odnosno promovisanje akcije prilagođavanja, saradnič- ke akcije za smanjenje emisije gasova sa efektom staklene bašte i akcije koje se odnose na ublažavanje klimatskih promena. IKT se mogu koristiti za ublažavanje uticaja drugih sektora na emisije gasova staklene bašte i pomoći zemljama da se prilagode klimatskim promenama. IKT mogu uticati na klimatske promene na tri glavna načina: smanjenje emisija u samom IKT sektoru korišćenjem efikasnije opreme i mre- ža, smanjenje emisija i postizanje energetske efikasnosti u drugim sektorima.
